BIO

Beth Weisenborn develops and manages courses for the onGEO group of the Department of Geography, Environment, and Spatial Science at Michigan State University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a Specialization in Cartography and a Minor in Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (1998). Beth went on to work with Dr. Randall J. Schaetzl for her Master of Science in Geography with a Specialization in Soil Geography and Geomorphology and Minor in Geological Sciences at Michigan State University (2001). After earning her degree, she began developing the online version of People and Environment with Dr. Alan F. Arbogast. From there, Beth has developed and managed the rest of the online courses in Geography at State, eventually becoming Director of Online Courses in Geography (onGEO). When she is not working, Beth enjoys coaching lacrosse, traveling, and having fun with her family.
