History of Online Geography @ MSU

Course Development

The Geography Department at Michigan State University has offered online geography courses since 1999, when Alan Arbogast, PhD, developed Geography 206v (Introduction to Physical Geography). ISS 310v (People and the Environment) followed in 2002, and approximately one course has been developed every other year since then. Below is a timeline of course development.
